Individuals and families can purchase health insurance plans through the Health Insurance Marketplace during open enrollment or a special enrollment period if they qualify. Plans can also be bought directly from insurance companies or through a licensed insurance broker who can help compare options and find the right coverage. Financial assistance may be available based on income, helping reduce premium costs.

UNDERSTANDING COLORADO'S HEALTH INSURANCE MARKETPLACE
Connect for Health Colorado is the state’s official health insurance marketplace. It is the only place where residents can qualify for and receive financial help in the form of premium tax credits for their health insurance.

Open Enrollment begins November 1, 2024 and ends January 15, 2025.

The annual Open Enrollment Period is the time to sign up for a health insurance plan or to renew your current plan. We can help you apply free of charge, and you’re not obligated to buy a plan when you work with our team.
